Buckeye Lake-Zanesville Gigs

Another strong week in the works for this guy! David Spires Duo gig at the Buckeye Lake Winery this Friday, 6-9pm with Mike Nicklaus.

Saturday 2-6pm at the Boatyard at Buckeye Lake with David Cooper. David’s gonna bring electric, acoustic, and some harmonica! Maybe I’ll toss in a lap steel to add to the variety.

Sunday, I am back at The Barn-Zanesville with Art Motel! Art Motel @ The Barn-Zanesville, 5-8pm. You can hear me on Pedal Steel, Lap Steel, and Dobro with these guys.

Big thanks to all my friends who came out to my gigs this past weekend. Your support means a lot to me, and to the establishments that make live music part of their experience.

JUNE! I’ll be playing Pedal Steel, Lap Steel, and Dobro with my band Art Motel this Friday (Art Motel @ Flappers) in Mt. Vernon, then at the Buckeye Lake Eagles FOE 2801 for their Jimmy Buffett party on Saturday, 6-10pm, with Mike Nicklaus on Drums. Tell them you are a guest of the band, then think about joining the Eagles!

Sunday brings me to The Barn-Zanesville to wrap up a very musical weekend, NOW 5-8p. Hope to see everyone out and about! Enjoy Spring while it lasts!!

AND, David Cooper is joining forces with me on the 13th! It’s gonna be a fun and busy month.

North Bank Songs Sunday

Working on a really fun tune with Mike Nicklaus and the guys from Barely Broken, Davis Eckert and guitarist Chris McDonald. Productive way to spend a grey sky Sunday on Buckeye Lake.

Producing and recording music gets me going!  It’s an exciting challenge to listen to another musician and try to understand what they’re saying about where they want a song to go. The process is not just listening but truly understanding. My job is to translate that into a production.

Fantastic day spent with these guys.
